I just sent out an e-mail to everybody who registered with a quick update and some more information. It took like 4 minutes to finish e-mailing everyone O.o I was really worried that it would stop 1/2 way through and I wouldn’t have any way of knowing who’d gotten the e-mails but luckily everything worked out. I really hope everyone can make it!
I’ve also updated workshops page so now it has a LOT more information about the workshops, huge thanks to everyone who’s presenting! And the presenters page now has relevant information about the presenters rather than a login/register thing. To be honest I was kind of sad to get rid of the login option since it was the first “real” thing I’ve done in PHP but bios are a lot more useful.

Hi,
Thank you for registering for the Vista party! We look forward to seeing you on February 24th at Foothill College. Registration starts at 9:30 AM and workshops begin at 10:30. Each workshop is 45 minutes long with 10 min breaks in between. A BBQ lunch is scheduled for 1:15 PM so be sure to eat a big breakfast.
Please take a moment and go to the site at http://vparty.org/workshops_choose.html and mark the sessions that you are interested in. We will assign different size rooms to different sessions and it will help us make sure that there is enough room for all you for your favorite sessions.
If you are unable to attend, I’d really appreciate it if you could reply back.
About giveaways: We have 100 copies of Vista Ultimate. Actually, we don’t have them yet, but hope to have them at the event. This is how they will be distributed: If you are one of the first 100 people to register online, you are eligible for a copy. You will need to be in line at the registration desk by 10:30AM to get a ticket for your copy. Sorry, anyone who is not there in time will lose their spot. At lunch after the talks, we will distribute the Windows Vista Ultimate products to all those with tickets. Half of the remaining copies will go to the people who register at the registration desk on a first come first serve basis and the other half will be raffled off to all remaining guests. We have some other giveaways that will also be given to registrants as they register at the front desk and raffled at lunch.
In the event that the Windows Vista Ultimates do not arrive in time, we will mail them to the appropriate folks.
